About Me

Hi there, I’m Lori! I am a wife to 1 amazing husband, a mom to 10 great adult kids and their spouses, and a grandma to 27 grandkids with another 1 on the way. There are a lot of us, and we love to play together, laugh together, go on outings together, and travel together. I especially love the beach, Disneyland, cruising, San Francisco, and water parks. Our family has made many fabulous memories together, and I hope you will share the journey with us as you read my blog!

I am kind of a planning freak. I love to know what I am getting myself into when taking a trip, so I usually do a lot of research. Then I make a general outline of my itinerary, so I know what I’m doing and how to do it. Many times it helps me to make some specific goals to help the experience flow smoothly. Then, when I have done all that I can, I relax and look for delightful discoveries!

One other thing that I enjoy is finding out a little bit of the history behind some of the places I visit. It’s fascinating to me how people and places evolve over time.
